Acme Oyster House (Acme Oyster House)

I have organized specific activities for each day of the trip, allowing me to gain the exposure necessary to celebrate African American advancement and appreciate the Afro-American identity. Leaving promptly at 6:00 a.m. from Austin,Texas on Thursday, July 5, my journey to New Orleans will take approximately nine hours, reaching the destination by mid afternoon. Whereupon, I will check into The O'Keefe Plaza Hotel, which will cost $75 for one night. Considering the long and extensive drive, I will rest for about an hour. Dinner will be experienced at Acme Oyster House, a phenomenal seafood and cajun restaurant famous throughout Louisiana. Of course, I will feast on seafood gumbo as well as a fried stuffed crab platter. Dinner will cost approximately $30. After a satisfying and delectable meal, I will go to the Presentation Hall, which is arguably the most known jazz club in the city. The venue provides traditional acoustic New Orleans Jazz. I will stop in New Orleans in order to appreciate the artistic quality of African American influenced blues and jazz, and of course, to enjoy the delicious the seafood and cajun food that is found in the heart of the city.
